SIALKOT: Prime Minister Imran Khan has laid the foundation stone of Rs17 billion development projects and the University of Applied Engineering in Sialkot.
The prime minister also inaugurated Air Sial, a private airline.
Development projects include clean water supply, solid waste machinery, major sewerage projects and rehabilitation of amusement parks. Development projects include the installation of new tube wells, filtration plants and maintenance of old tube wells. The water supply project is expected to be completed in 2022.
The prime minister also laid the foundation stone of Sialkot University of Applied Engineering and Technology at a cost of Rs14 billion. Sialkot University of Applied Engineering and Technology will be completed in 7 years.
