Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to hold elections if the opposition resigns from the assemblies.

The prime minister said that he is more confident than the opposition while speaking to the editors and columnists here on Tuesday.

On this occasion, the prime minister said that he did not allow the Lahore rally but would not stop it. The common man and the opposition were not taking coronavirus seriously, he said.

Regarding the resignations, he said, “I am more confident than the opposition. The opposition wants to confuse us. We will hold by-elections. It is the right of the opposition to resign. However, apart from NRO and corruption, the government ready to talk to the opposition, the prime minister added.
