BERLIN: Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud has said the kingdom would not accept Israel untill an international agreement with Palestinians.

He said that Israel’s unilateral actions of Jewish settlements are an obstacle to peace.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, he said that Saudi Arabia is bound under the Arab peace plan based on peace.

This was the first official response from the kingdom on the recent Israel-UAE deal.

Faisal bin Farhan said that Saudi Arabia had started the Arab peace agreement in 2002 to pave the way for relations with Israel, but now there can be no way for diplomatic relations with Israel until there is a peace agreement with the Palestinians.
