Buzdar says NAB did not summon him as a criminal but as a witness

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Monday said that the NAB did not summon as a criminal but as a witness.

Speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries, he said that whenever NAB calls him, he will go and answer all the questions of the anti-graft watchdog.

He said that members of national and provincial assemblies hold regular meetings with him for the issues of their constituencies and he would try to resolve their issues.

Bazdar said that the prime minister has always trusted him therefore he would always play on the front foot.

About the wheat and sugar crisis in Punjab, the chief minister said that the situation was being monitored in the province.
