Karachi: The Sindh High Court has directed implemention on its order of 20 per cent discount in school fees under the Corona Ordinance.
The Sindh High Court heard a petition seeking a 20 per cent reduction in school fees during the lockdown here on Tuesday.
During the hearing, the court directed that its order to grant 20 per cent discount under the Corona Ordinance be implemented.
The High Court sought a report from the Director School and Education within 20 days.
It may be recalled that the Sindh government had issued the Sindh Corona Relief Ordinance which was approved by the Sindh Governor on May 15.
According to the draft, a 20% reduction in tuition fees has been made mandatory for private schools, which will not be charged in any other category or even after a certain period of time.
