Karachi: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday ordered to demolish the houses built illegaly on the land of Hill Park.
The court heard the Hill Park, Clifton and Civil Aviation Authority land occupation case at the Supreme Court’s Karachi registry office.
The court ordered to raze the houses being built illegaly on the Hill Park land and recover the plot of Kidney Hospital.
The Karachi commissioner informed the court that the residents of these houses have been issued notices. To which, the court remarked that the allotees may contact the departments concerned to collect their money.
On the other hand, the CAA had told the court that work is going on at a fast pace. The coronavirus pandemic had caused a delay. Plantation drive on the land is underway on the court order.
