Lockdown lifted in Punjab today

LAHORE: The Punjab government has issued a notification to lift the lockdown after the situation of coronavirus improved.

On the direction of Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care Muhammad Usman issued a notification to lift the lockdown.

The Secretary Health said that all business centers except wedding halls have been opened from today.

He said that religious gatherings are subject to the permission of the concerned administration and compliance with SOPs while all business centers will be bound to comply with SOPs.

According to Muhammad Usman, all types of public transport will run as usual. With the permission of the government, bazaars, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants and cinemas will be opened across Punjab from today.
