Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed took a suo motu notice of the falling of a billboard on two citizens during the recent rains in Karachi.

During a rainstorm in Karachi yesterday (Friday), two motorcyclists were injured when a billboard fell on them on Shahra-e-Faisal near Metropole.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan has taken notice of the incident and the billboard petition has been included in the August 10 supplementary cause list.

The suo motu hearing will be held on August 10.

It may be recalled that earlier the Supreme Court had ordered the removal of billboards from all over Karachi.
