Karachi: A case of grenade attack on Jamaat-e-Islami’s Kashmir Solidarity Rally near Baitul Mukarram Mosque in Karachi has been registered at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police station.
The FIR, registered 24 hours after the incident, also includes provisions on murder, attempted murder and anti-terrorism.
The FIR No 115/2020 has been registered on behalf of Raja Arif Sultan, a local leader of Jamaat-e-Islami.
According to the complainant, after Asr prayers on Wednesday evening, a Kashmir Solidarity Rally was being held on University Road outside Baitul Mukarram Mosque when unknown attacker/attackers hurled a grenade.
