Petrol price likely to be reduced by Rs10 per litre today

Karachi: The government has dropped another inflation bomb on the people before the Eid by increasing the prices of petroleum products.

The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification of increase in prices, according to which the price of petrol has been increased by Rs3.86 per liter.

According to the notification, the price of diesel has been increased by Rs5 per liter, kerosene by Rs5.97 per liter and light diesel by Rs6.62 per liter.

The new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs103.97 per liter, high speed diesel at Rs106.46 per liter, kerosene at Rs65.29 per liter and light diesel at Rs62.86 per liter.

The new prices of petroleum products will come into effect from 12 midnight.

Earlier, OGRA has also increased the price of domestic cylinders of LPG.
