Quetta: A man was killed and seven others injured in an explosion here at Turbat Bazaar on Tuesday.
Reports said that the explosion took place near a vehicle, which caught fire as a result, killing a man and injuring seven others.
The body and the injured were taken to a hospital.
Windowpanes of the nearby buildings smashed due to the explosion.
Police and rescue officials arrived at the site of the blast and started rescue work.
Security officials said that the blast was carried out through a planted device.They added that the nature of the balst is yet to be ascertained.
