Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has demanded of the government to make a national action plan for the independence of occupied Kashmir.

Speaking in the Senate, he said that the name of Kashmir had almost disappeared on the map. How long the bloodshed of innocent people will continue in the valley?

The JI chief asked what steps had been taken by the government to restore the status of Kashmir. The government could not even unite the entire political leadership on this issue.

Siraj urged the prime minister to take notice of increase in petroleum prices.

Listing the country’s issues, he said that Balochistan is crying, backwardness still exists in south Punjab, situation is getting worse in tribal areas, problems in the interior of Sindh are growing, Karachi lacks public transport and water. This is the first government whose ministers are sitting in sit-ins instead of getting the electricity issue solved.

Who will address the public issues if the rulers started holding protests, he questioned.
