Flour price shoots up in Karachi after Punjab

Karachi: Despite the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the flour prices have increased in Karachi after Punjab.

Rs6 per kilograms has been increased in the price of flour quality No 2.5 in the retail market. Now the flour quality No 2.5 is being sold at Rs54 per kg in the retail market.

Market sources said that the price of a 50 kg bag of flour quality No 2.5 has jumped from Rs2400 to Rs2700.

The price of fine flour has also increased by Rs4 to Rs58 per kilogram in the retail market. Now a 50-kg bag of fine flour is being sold at Rs2, 900. Earlier, it was available for 2,700.
