Bahrain Air seeks licence varification of Pakistani pilots, engineers

Karachi: After the EU, US and other countries, Bahrain Airlines has also grounded Pakistani pilots and engnineers.

Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority has written a letter to its Pakistani counterpart seeking varification of licences of three Pakistani pilots and five aircraft engineers.

The three Pakistani pilots included Chaudhry Ghafoor Saqib, Muhammad Bashir Khan and Malik Imran Altaf.

The fives engineers whose varification was sought were included Javed Iqbal Malik, Muhammad Junaid Khan, Danish Afzal, Irfan Feroz and Muhammad Shahid Amroon.

After receiving the letter, the Civil Aviation Authority CAA has initiated a probe to varify the licences of the said pilots and aircraft engineers.
