Speaker adjourns NA session till Monday without tabling no-trust move

Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-N has demanded of the Speaker of National Assembly to exclude the advisers from the privatisation committee.

In this connection, the PML-N has written a letter to Speaker Asad Qaiser, urging to expel the finance and trade advisor and departmental reforms advisor from the privatisation committee.

It added that the inclusion of advisors in the privatisation committee was in violation of the Constitution since they do not take oath on the Constitution. Therefore, the advisors are not the protectors of the Constitution and the democracy, the letter further said.

The PML-N said that Asad Qaiser as a Speaker is a guardian of the Constitution and should ensure exclusion of the advisors from the privatisation committee.
