At least 14 people were killed in an attack at a social services facility in San Bernardino, California on Thursday.

Police have killed two people suspected of being involved in the mass shooting.

San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said that police had engaged in a gun battle with suspects in a black SUV, and that two suspects- a man and a woman dressed in what Burguan described as dark,”assault-style” clothing – had been killed in the shoot-out.

He said the suspects were armed with rifles and hand guns.

A police officer had been injured in the gun fight but the injuries were not life threatening, the police chief said.
