Karachi: Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Saturday said that 253 children including 10-month-old have been infected with coronavirus in Sindh.

In a message posted on Twitter, Wahab said that 26 per cent of patients are women in the province.

He urged the citizens to maintain social distancing and help each other by isolating themselves.

Meanwhile, according to the health ministry data, 150,000 people will contract the coronavirus by May 30 in the country.

The data suggests that the graph of confirmed cases would flatten in the month of June. In July, the graph will start declining, the data shows.

According to the health ministry data, the stock of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilators is sufficient for the month of May. However, in June there will be a shortage of them.
