ہمارے معاشرے میں کتنی تبدیلیاں آ چکی ہیں اس کا اندازہ ہمیں اپنے معاشرے سے ہو رہا ہے ۔بالخصوص نوجوان نسل مشرقی اقدار کو چھوڑتی جا رہی ہے ۔ان کا لباس ۔بات چیت۔آداب واطوار بالکل پستی کی طرف جا رہے ہیں ۔یعنی لباس دیکھیں تو عورت کے ستر کے تقاضے پورے نہیں کر رہا ہے ۔غیر ملکی ۔غیر اسلامی ہیئت ۔بڑوں چھوٹوں کا لحاظ ۔سب ختم ہو رہا ہے ۔صرف اور صرف نفس پرستی اور خود نمائی بڑھتی جا رہی ہے ۔ یہ تو انفرادی احوال ہیں اگر اجتماعی معاملات دیکھیں جائیں تو تقریبات خاص طور پر شادی بیاہ کے مواقع پر ناچ۔گانے ۔غیر اسلامی رسومات رائج ہو چکی ہیں ۔آخر اتنی تیزی سے یہ تبدیلیاں کیوں آرہی ہیں ۔لوگ کہاں سے یہ سب کچھ سیکھ رہے ہیں ۔اس کا سد باب کس طرح ممکن ہے ۔
میڈیا ایک موثر ذریعہ ہے ۔آج کل کے پروگرامز۔اشتہارات ۔منفی رویہ ادا کر رہے ہیں ۔غیر اسلامی لباس ۔اطوار کو بڑھا چڑھا کر خوبصورت انداز میں پیش کیا جاتا ہے کہ لوگ اس کی نقل کرنے میں فخر محسوس کرتے ہیں ۔یوں یہ تبدیلیاں غیر محسوس طریقے سے ہمارے معاشرے کا جزو بنتی جا رہی ہیں ۔کچھ دہائیوں پہلے کی بات ہے اسی میڈیا سے اچھے معیاری پروگرامز نشر ہوتے تھے ۔اب بھی یہ ممکن ہے ۔معیاری ڈرامے اور دیگر پروگرام بنائیں جائیں ۔اپنی تہذیب وثقافت کو اجاگر کیا جائے کہ ہماری تہذیب وثقافت دوسری تہذیبوں سے بالا ہے ۔ہمیں اس کو فروغ دینا ہے۔
